just dug up a nice orpheum number three 5 string,very beautiful banjo.Carved heel,fancy inlays,11 and 5/8ths pot(i think).sounds clear and strong.anyone else out there got one so we can trade info?
also came with the wacky hartnett tone bar which is some sort of banjo mute,ive never seen one in all my years.
on a less enjoyable note,i hear thruogh the grapevine that young Leon from the banjo brothers got ripped off on an ebay transaction by some one named "goldfingerman"or something like that.There seems to be a bit of this going on lately and ,from what i hear ,ebay doesnt help out much.Caveat Emptor,but a nice bloke like Leon doesnt need to be treated like that by a shifty businessman,so lets all spread the word about these ebay scoundrels.If you want more info about this,contact Leon at banjobrothers.

OK...I checked your ad again and I saw what I thought was area code 613, which is Ottawa, Ontario (Canada), not far from me. I'm afraid a trade or sale is out of the question, as much as I like Orpheums.
