Last night my band Pepper Laing & The Lonestar Killers opened the show for Duluth MN, band Trampled By Turtles at Winnipegs best live music venue, The West End Cultural Center. It`s such a great room to play, top notch all the way. There was a pretty good turn out and we got good response to our set. We sold some more merch too. Trampled By Turtles were so good, the banjo picker, Dave Caroll plays a nice Stelling Golden Cross (I`m Jeleous) with a flat pick, and boy can he pick that thing. I have not seen anything like it. Fast is fast but he is the fastest! It was very cool to watch. The whole band was really good and I`d recomend if you get the chance, go see them. So that`s it for our summer schedule it`s been a good run, now it`s time to buckle down to record our 2nd album. BANJO`S RULE no matter how you play it!!
