I volunteered to help out at the Duluth sailing event last Saturday 9-5-09. The local sailing association hosted an afternoon of sailing for 70 Exchange Students from the University of Wisconsin.
My job was to take the kids sailing as was several others. We used 6 boats in all.
I took two Korean and two Japaneese kids out. They had arrived in the Duluth Superior area two days earlier.
I took this video and put a little background music behind it.
enjoy!

Sailing... I remember that. In high school I crewed on a sloop that would do Cleveland-Sandusky races on Lake Eerie. Raced FJs and Thistle in college, and years later crewed a 40-foot I forget what on Puget Sound. Wind, water, banjo. Mmmm.
