A poem - MOMENTS

Posted by campbelldb on Friday, July 17, 2009

Here is a poem I wrote about enjoying those precious moments listening to and playing the banjo. Constructive criticisms and/or donations are appreciated!

Lucky are those for whom
time does not scatter like
cockroaches running from light
but flutters from bud to
bud savoring the sips
of that first Spring breeze
floating through the window
or now, sipping cool notes
that flow from the fountain
of a bubbling banjo melody

Just love your similies - time does not scatter like cockroaches in light &  notes as they flow from the fountain of a banjo melody.

Your poem works for me. Keep up the good work!
