I toured the Deering Factory today. What a treat. Carolina (our guide) showed us every stage of a banjos construction from lumber to final completion. Although I have a Stelling, and love it, I was impressed with the quality and care taken on an all-American made product. I would highly recommend a visit ot their factory/showroom in Spring Valley CA.

My wife and I toured the Deering Factory about eight years ago. Carolina was also our guide. We had a great time and learned a lot about banjo making. I second your recommendation.
