My summer has been perty good so far. Every week I volunteer for Stir-n-Up Hope, a theraputic horse riding program. Its a great program. I love working with the kids and the horses. Iv been doing alot of fishing, 4wheeler riding and also riding my dirtbike. My family also goes to the river alot. Last time we went my bf and my sisters friend went along and we went to the bridge and Corn island. We did alot of swimming and tubing. I try to practice my banjo every day. Right now Im working on the song called The Rock Of Ages. My bf dad went to Bean Blossom and brought me back a autographed Ralph Stanley cd!!!! Thanks Paul!!!! The cd is really good!!

Hey Mal, I bought the same CD and it was a good one. I also heard from Paul this afternoon that Ralph's bus was in a wreck and his grandson, Nathon and a granddaughter were hospitalize after leaving Bean Blossom. Hope all will be OK and our thoughts go out to his family.

I started the first therapeutic equestrian program in Texas for kids with psychological disorders. They'd done it with physical and developmental disabilities, but never with schizophrenia, bi-polar, oppositional defiant disorder and such.
They said I'd have horses killed, abused and kids would use the horses to escape.
Didn't happen. Like Ronald Reagan said, "The outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man."
You're doing good work there. Keep it up!
Tom
