The excellent streaming radio station Sugar in The Gourd is off the air. John needs a new server PC which is probably going to be about 800 $. You can donate quickly and easily here:

I play mostly bluegrass, but I love being able to listen to old-time music on the internet. If you have listened to SITG, you know that this is an excellent station that streams both new stuff and historical field recordings. I tuned in a couple of weeks ago to hear Ricky Skaggs and Tony Rice singing a gospel number that blew me away. John Hartford came on next, followed by the Carter Family, followed by a series of solo fiddle field recordings.
If you can spare 10 bucks, it will help. If you can spare more, then we're that much closer to getting SITG back up and running. This post is totally non-solicited. I didn't even know John Salmon's name before today, but I have loved listening to Sugar in the Gourd, and I wanted to help get it back online.
Blessings to you and yours!
