my sister in law gave me a cradle strap last christmas. my wife had told her that i was building a banjo. it is an excellent strap and i had every intention of using it but, now that the banjo is almost finished i find that the strap wont fit between the shoes and the flesh hoop without altering it. i could add snap hooks to it but not sure i want to go that route. snap hooks make alot of noise and can mar the finish. i guess i could split the ends and tie it on to the hooks. just not sure what to do.
anyone else run into this problem? what was your solution?

Steve, check the straps out on the huber banjo site, i got one and wouldnt part with it, all leather and it just goes over one of the hooks by passing the hook through it, take a look mate.
