above is a new neck i am building. it is nearing completion. there other pics in my "photos", please check them out and add comments. i am becoming very happy with this. i beleive this is my best effort yet. i still have a way to go. the matching dowel stick needs to be added, some sanding and a finish. then i need to attach it to a very old slingerland archtop pot assy. i am also debating whether or not i should stain the neck to match the darker pot or just leave it natural. thanks to a bho members advice i decided to stick with the floral design all the way up the neck. i also intend to add an inlay on the heel but havent designed that one yet. thanks for your input.
