I just got my hands on an awesome banjo I love the way it sounds and plays. I noticed that it doesn't have a truss rod cover on the peghead, when did Gibson do this the pics are on my hangout homepage . Any info would be helpful. There is also the letters R. E. T. inlaid on the fret board. on the inside of therim the name Ron Tolliver is engraved. Again any help would be appreciated.
