Well, it seems to have passed quickly, but I have now been picking for one month!
I'd like to thank all the members here at the Hangout for the information, tips and help I have received so far.
I'd also like to praise Ross Nickerson for the video lessons that I have been viewing while trying to come to grips with this 5 stringed monster! :) These, along with the Scruggs book and "Bluegrass Banjo for the Complete Ignoramus" have been a big help.
For anyone interested, here are a few clips that I recorded today. Don't know if these are good or bad, but I am enjoying the ride so far, and that's the important thing. :)

Oh...almost forgot....
I put up a few pictures of my RK-85 in my album if you feel like having a look. I'm very pleased with it so far.

Russ,
Glad you are enjoying this as much as we do! Keep picking it gets easier. Though very frustrating sometimes it is a great way to relax too. Keep us posted on the progress. Gotta go check out the RK. Later
