It's the last of January, Will the Spring ever arrive? I'm ready to go out SOMEWHERE and start picking. I have intentions to attending some festisvals as soon as they start up. The first I know of at this time is the one at Hillside Bluegrass Park down in central Georgia. Still got to learn more on my banjo, I'm ready to get out of this house and pick.

Donald - I think I just met you on the Fiddle Hangout. I check out the banjo hangout occasionally, too (although I don't play). Be sure and put the Bear on the Square festival in Dahlonega, GA, on your calendar. It's about an hour north of Atlanta with lots of jamming and good stage shows, too. It technically starts on Friday, but most of the action is Saturday and Sunday. You probably would want to reserve a room now.
