I watched a fascinating program on the Travel channel last night about a Jamaican cook. He cooks only with an old, old stove and beat-up pots and pans, yet people come from miles around to dine at his "restaurant" that has sand for the floor.
When asked the secret of his cooking success, he said he prays before preparing each meal. I am not much of a church-goer but watching him pray made me realize that divine gudance and assistance is essential if we want to realize our poitential.
I am going to say a silent prayer before each banjo practice session that God will help me to be the best banjo player that I can be and that my music will move and inspire others.
