Howdy folks. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and new year. College has started back and I'm ready for this semester.
My radio show, Bluegrass Junction, is returning to the air on Sunday January 18, 2009 at 4 pm on 90.5 FM WUOG and www.wuog.org. I have new music to play, some of it is new old/vintage bluegrasss and new modern/recent recordings of bluegrass. My laptop crashed over Christmas break, but I have been able to restore it back to working condition. Fortunately I had most all of my music on a portable hard drive and that really saved me.
Lately I've learned some of the Uncle Dave Macon style of banjo playing. I really enjoy it because most of his songs were in an interesting tuning, GCGCE. I plan to post some videos to YouTube soon, then I'll post the links here.
