No, it's not wearing steamy-punky goggles; I wear glasses and I play the folk fife, so its me on two crossed flutes/fifes and glasses on the bonehead. (the skull, you know?).
The flaming circle? Well, I'm heavily into the banjo, but folks these days want me to play the fife and the Irish flute more, both of which I love also (and were what I played before the banjo or the mountain dulcimer, hence the nostalgia on the part of some folks), plus the body of a banjo is round. See? It's all sort of droll-punny-like. So, I'm sort of caught in a ring of fire. No offense intended to Johnny Cash fans or family. Or The POTC crowd.
And besides, it ought to make a cool logo for a jacket or something (lol).
