I decided to do Gibson style binding on the neck im working on. It's my first time doing it. And i have the binding installed. My problem now is triming it.
Since the frets are installed, you can't just level it along with the fingerboard. Also, I have read the instructions in the "lesson" section on here too, but I just can't seem to get the hang of using the chisel and razor blade like it says. I already have a scratch to fix. My instinct is to sand or file, but that's not going to cut it here.
If you are good at Gibson style binding, maybe you could give me some more tips?
