I am going to be playing some John Hartford tunes in open E tuning for a show and would like to know what string gauges Hartford used. My light strings will buzz if I drop to E and I need some heavier ones. Any ideas?

If I remember right, on his DVD he tells what they are and shows that he wrote them on the head so he wouldn't forget them.
Somebody's bound to know from that. Sorry that I'm not near the DVD or player right now.
