Hey everyone,
I just made an impromptu recording of cluck old hen and upload it. I was wondering if I could get any feedback. I apologize for the banjo being a bit out of tune, it's acting up and my high D is currently a larger gauge(I had to improvise after the original broke, brand new string too.)

Wow. You are really cookin! I thought I did that tune ok, but now realize I'm still in slow mode. So, I think, "He's one of those guys who's been playing forever" I look at your homepage and it says 2005. Same time I started. Rats. There went that excuse! You are really doing good. Keep going.

As a one-year player, I'm impressed by your speed and accuracy. But I really think you could get a bit more "feeling" into the tune by playing it slower. That's my feedback.

sweet, sounds like something off the county clawhammer series. like the fast tempo. do you sing? and what tuning do you use? i'm hooked on taj mahall's version, which is, i think, double c, maybe sawmill...i noodle with that but keep hearing muddy waters' i just can't be satisfied and it monkeys up my head. post more songs, ok? oh yeah, and sing.
