Has anyone tried mounting a DPA 4099 to a Nechville banjo? The non-standard (non existant) hooks make it difficult to mount anything standard. The Universal DPA mount uses hook and loop (velcro). I looks like the strap could run behind the braces on the Nechville.
I'm having a heck of a time finding a pickup that mounts easily on the Nechville. I want either a good piezo or small condenser. I already have the DPA so I'd like to find a way to make it work.
