Hi,
Does anyone know where I can find someone who makes truss rod covers for banjos? Im looking for one that isn't 3d printed and are custom so I can get my name put on them.

Check out Bryan England at custominlay.com . He can make any truss rod cover to your specifications. If your banjo doesn’t have a Gibson-shaped truss rod cover, you can send him a tracing of your cover and he’ll use it as a template. I know this because he made two exquisite pearl covers with my name inlaid for my DP Hopkins and LouZee banjos, whose truss rod covers have a unique shape.

Dave Foster makes custom truss rod covers. I have had him make a couple for me. I think he goes by Willie D. on FB. And he is around Nashville, TN.

Deering sells them (currently $25) with a choice of wood and font for the inscription.

I’ve bought a couple of the personalized wood covers from Deering, for my Deering banjos, and they are really nice. However, keep in mind, they are sized for a Deering banjo, so the screw distance might be different on a different make of banjo.
