Here is a beautiful Jazz arrangement of this Classic tune by the Great Johnny Smith...Jack    p.s. The timing changes drove both Russ and Me crazy...Johnny is so expressive...

I try to get those tempo changes by looping the section and using the app TURNOVER to tap out the new time.

Such a beautiful song. Years ago on BHO I opined that a clawhammer version of Shenandoah couldn't be done that would do the song justice Immediately several people posted their CH version to show me otherwise, but IMHO they just confirmed what I said. Years later I worked out a version combining two-finger-thumb-lead with three finger folk picking and I think it comes out much better. But, different strokes for different folks...always! banjered

I’ll throw my hat in the ring then. This is a fingerstyle arrangement by English guitarist/composer Joe Harris. . It’s fairly straightforward; I changed one of the chords to a Cmaj7, and added the outro.
