OH thanks for posting this! Whooooeeee! I don't know who Corey Walker plays with (a band?) but lord a' mercy he has some great ideas on that ole 5.
Watching/listening to Stuart Duncan makes me wanna lay down on a railroad track. I don't know how "processed" that audio was, but that was the loveliest fiddle tone I can ever recall.

I've known David G for a few decades and he ALWAYS amazes. I saw him a LONG time ago at a pickin' party at Mike Compton's in Nashville. He took his guitar out of the case and WARMED UP by playing the Christmas song Sleigh Ride 100% by chord melody.
I wish this video would go viral to demonstrate the virtues of NOT thrashing bluegrass. So calm!

Corey Walker plays for East Nash Grass .... his brother plays mandolin with Billy Strings. I could listen to good fiddle players for hours,, Stuart is one of'em.

In addition to Cory's stellar bamjo picking, Maddie Denton won IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year in 2025.
Back in the 1980s & early 1990s, I played in an amateur local band with Maddie's parents. I've known her since she was an infant.

Oh yeah East Nash Grass! I've heard them on SiriusXM and live at festivals. Real powerhouse group. I just didn't know the banjo picker's name.
