Possibly off topic, but that reminds me of God's Unchanging Hand on Alan Lomax's Southern Journey volume 3, by A. Burton and congregation.

This is in double C tuning. I can't sing it in G tuning. The jury is still out on if I can sing it in double C.

Here's some clawhammer tab in G for this song.  Sandra McCracken sings this in the key of D.  I first tabbed the tune in D (double-C with capo) and then worked from that for the G version. Hold To God's Unchanging Hand | Sandra McCracken (Official Live Video)

I have upload another tab for this tune in the key of D (double-C tuning with capo at the 2nd fret).  The chord names (D, Bm, A) are for guitar or other accompaniment.  They will be C, Am, G, if played in key of C.
