I was gifted this banjo. It’s a four string with a Vega logo on the headstock, but I can’t find any serial number or any other identifying text on it or any of its components. Any info on what model it may be or time period would be greatly appreciated. I’m new to this forum and will try to figure out how to post a few pics of it. And would gladly include any other photos of specific parts to assist in identifying. I currently have a set of Irish tuning strings in it. Thank you in advance.

This was made by Galaxy in Korea sometime between 1979 and 1989. C. F. Martin made Vega banjos in the seventies, then sold the Vega name to the Galaxy Trading Co. in 1979. Galaxy made Vega banjos for about ten years, then sold the Vega name to Deering Banjo Co. in 1989. Deering has been making Vega banjos ever since.
