I call it the MacFarland (my family name). Roasted maple neck, tone ring, rim (segmented 11”). Rosewood fretboard and headstock plate, ebony heel cap, walnut/maple dowel stick, Purple Heart rope rim carving.
No difference in sound after painting head, but the paid very thin so I’m not surprised.

thank you. I airbrushed it with very thin acrylic paint over a few stencils.

Nice job. I really like that tartan painted on the head. I'd like to paint my tartan on a head but the Munro tartan is a little bit complicated.

You could just do Scotland's flag, the Saltire.
