Just ordered this banjo from eBay, it was pretty cheap so I decided I’d risk it. Can anyone help me identify it, or know any information on this one in particular? Thanks :)

If you google it you get a lot of information. Sounds like the Gold Star banjos when made in Japan, 70s and 80s. Sounds like a decent banjo, especially if you got it cheap.

Antoria - Samick brand name in the UK at least from August 2002 on. Dot inlay tone ring banjo seen on a site in the UK.
Samick is/was a Korean mass-market musical instrument jobber. They produced instruments for a variety of brands, including Epiphone, Washburn, Aria and others. This is why you'll find essentially the same banjos under many different brand names.
Yours looks like it's a pretty good one.

This would be the top of the line Samick made banjo with the carving on the peghead and gold coloured metalwork. The tone ring should be brass. I've seen the banjo under a few names including Ozark. The carving was dropped after a few years. It's going to be a fairly decent bluegrass banjo. Although I would be changing that clear head.
I saw this model on Ebay for under £100 recently which was a crazy bargain - perhaps you bought it.
