These turned up on our national site. Definitely British made but have never seen any this ornate nor the tailpiece design.

Just a guess, but fancy MB's like this, that have seen, tend to be French or Italian.

You may be correct. I have never seen English ones this ornate. I have enlarged the photo and can make out a zero fret on the left hand one but not the right hand one. The photos get pretty fuzzy enlarged.
