Just for general discussion - I know there were some recent exchanges about a particular banjo on that came up for sale on eBay. I did some background searching first and then bought it (pretty cheaply). I then contacted Leo Coulson at Intermountain Guitar & Banjo with photos and a question about the banjo's origin. He replied that he thought it was built not by him but most likely by his partner, Michael Allison, at the Providence Guitar & Banjo shop in the early 1970s. I don't have it in hand yet, but it looks pretty well built and it will be interesting to get it set back up and playing. I'll update here after that is accomplished.
