Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with Homespun/Purple Player. I guess this was originally Homespun Video, then Homespun DVD. Over the years I have bought hundreds of pounds worth of video tutorials from the Homespun website. Tony Trischka, Béla Fleck, and many others of banjo tutorials, guitar, ukulele etc. Recently I haven’t been able to access any of them. When I try to get access to my library at Homespun, I end up in a loop. Log in-no luck-change password-no sorry can’t do that-try to set up new account - send me back to login-no luck-change password- etc etc. It looks like they still sell video tutorials. Please help!

Do you have another computer you can try to access it from? Quickest way to isolate variables.
If not, try another browser. Like if you usually use Chrome, try Firefox.

Describe your problem. They will create a support ticket and get back to you. I have not had to contact them in years, but they were very helpful in the past.

Which "app" are you using on your computer ?  Platform Purple, Purple Media Access, or the old Homespun Instant Access ?

I have all three still working OK.

I had a lot of problems with the purple platform with the power pickin stuff, in the end I got my money back, and copied, I mean borrowed my friends dvds. that John Lawless DVD is something else

I had a problem years ago and I called Homespun on the phone and Susan was a big help and got it all fixed . I know Happy Traum the founder of Homespun has passed and don’t know if Susan is still handling things but it’s worth a shot to call the Homespun office .
