Are there certain batches of Blaylock tones rings that are “ better” than other batches ? If you were going to build a banjo what tone ring would you prefer?

if you can find one a hopkins flathead ring is an excellent choice... if i ever built a banjo i would search for that ring first before anything else.

If I was putting together a spec list, no limits, it would have a Burlile ring.
