Can’t get around anymore carrying a resonator banjo with case. I need a gig bag with shoulder straps. Can someone please point me in the right direction. I’ve got a Superior for the open backs so need something similar for my Sierra resonator with good protection.

I also play a Sierra & have aged out of carrying heavy stuff. So I bought a Gator case. While not a perfect fit, it is a good fit, and a lot easier to carry!

This has been my favorite the past few years. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and the case is as protective as most hard shell cases

I just posted this question two weeks ago for the same reason.
Ended up buying the same Reunion Blues bag that Timothy Lindblom posted above….all be it for a good chunk less $$$. Very happy with the case.

I have used a Boulder Alpine gig bag for a few years going to jams where I might have to walk a block or two (or three). Last year I switched to a Crossrock foam case - light weight, better protection, and backpack straps. I still use the Boulder Alpine once in a while.
