I have a Vega Tubaphone with a #9 with an extraordinary neck made by the late Wyatt Fawley mated to an original fancy "big " pot 11 13/16"with a skin head that I got from the late Bill Miller.Exquisite inlay work and heel carving. No fret wear to speak of, Moon 5/8 bridge and No Knot tailpiece. I've had it since around 2008.
The other is a Gibson Trap Door with a neck made by Carl Arcand. I paid $2400 for it and felt it was a fair price. It came to me with steel strings but now has nylon. I've had a little less than a year but age issues have made me decide to go on without banjos in my life I won't go into the details but its the hardest decision I've had to make. Any advice you can offer would be appreciated

looking in my address book to the nearest banjo head to San Diego I know who can come and relieve this man of his suffering and put a banjo in his arms, relieve him of his banjos one or the other.
