My problem is that I truely cannot find a banjo tab for this song. I really like it, & it seems simple enough. Can anyone help me w/ it?

You have to learn 3 chords first. G,C and D. Then you can strum along to the song while you play it.

There are many versions of this song. The version I am most familiar with is the Eddy Arnold version which I have worked up on guitar a long time ago. If I remember correctly, that version is in the key of E or E flat. That might be a little tricky for a banjo without retuning your fifth string. But the chord progression is a 1, 4, 5 which in E would be E, A, and B(7). The B chord in this particular song is a B7 chord.
If you are comfortable with the melody (can hum it) then you could play it in whatever key you want. The easiest for the banjo of course would be the key of G. Then you would play the progression with the chords G, C, and D. In this case playing a D7 would suit the song.
I'm no music theory professor. But hopefully this helps.
PS: if you want to direct message me, I could work up a set of lyrics to the song with the chord changes in whatever key you are comfortable with.
