Hey folks - I'm hoping someone can chime in on this and advise me what I may have here, a ballpark figure as to worth, and whether or not most or all of this banjo appears "correct." I can tell the spunover pot appears to be approx 11" (give or take a hair, maybe a 1/16"?) and it has 20 hooks and nuts (not counting the tailpiece holding screw), and shoes holding those to the rim of course. Other than that, I do see a few mismatched tuners. Obviously the head is broken but that will be left to it's next owner to replace. I will make a heroic attempt to attach some pictures!

Looks real to me. Mid-1880s more or less. As-is, maybe $250 or so.
