Selling a 1926 Gibson TB-3- Ball bearing style original tenor with the original neck....Serial number matching in rim and resonator 8163-39....Has seen its fair share of play but still in good condition....will be a great conversion!! Second coordinator rod included in case....still has the original case with it....Would prefer to meet in person...

Someone pointed out that the serial number may date it to 1925. I am going to post in the collection corner to try to get clarification.

Hi Kevin,
The Mastertone letters in the peghead are characteristic of the ‘25 models, but they usually also had a perforated skirt. I’d check the serial against the banjo philes listing.
Just checked--1925. It's earlier sister (-19) also had the Mastertone peghead and no holes in the skirt.
