Sung to the tune of “Casey Jones,” these lyrics by an unknown author as recalled by Ralph Fleming, tell of the escapades of the Twin Mountain & Potomac Railroad (1911-1919), a narrow gauge line consisting of a Baldwin 460 engine which ran between Keyser and Burlington, WV, hauling freight such as apples from the Twin Mountain orchards and bark to the tannery in Keyser, as well as a mode of transport for passengers. A ‘thank you’ to Terrie R. for the additional info, and for prompting it to be recorded!
