Does anyone know if Kyle Vanmeter is alive or unwell? I have tried to contact him several times both directly from his website and from his personal email and have not received any response. I was hoping to order a custom banjo but there’s no easy way to do that without contacting him. Maybe he’s travelling, retired, or just unavailable for whatever reason. Anyone know or have any other contact information?

Great question! His web site took my friend's money a for simple Dobson Nickel Plated Banjo Tailpiece, 2 months, ago, and then never heard a word after auto-confirmation of credit card approval. Crickets. After several web site submitted emails, several direct personal email address emails, phone calls to the number listed on the web site auto-generated order confirmation, sent chat messages via Facebook ... absolutely nothing. No acknowledgement of any kind in any way that this item is being sent, being machined, being refunded. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Took the money and poof! So very good question -- is he alive, indeed? Why would anyone ever consider ordering a custom banjo if he can't even deliver on a simple tailpiece?
