Here's some photos of my latest mini banjo and case build. It features The Phoenix bird and flames in its design. That peghead shape was a pain!

Beautiful work. I have mini by Dale Small and this reminds me of it.

Beautiful banjo, beautiful work. How is the banjo tuned? Open G? C?

Another beauty Marvin. Great work and thanks for posting your builds.

Unique and beautiful. Just wow.
How do you like the clear head as opposed to the frosted you typically use? Was it so you could see the interior and resonator?

Sorry to hear that the peghead was a pain.
On one's other hand, YOU designed it!
So, you suffered for your art.
And, from the looks and the sound, it was worth the suffering.
Like the lady said in "BLAZING SADDLES":
"Please accept this laurel, and hearty handshake!"

The lady that I built it for requested a clear head. She plans on painting something on the inside. I stained the inside of the resonator to show the wood grain, hoping that once she sees it she will change her mind. I prefer the white head... it just looks better to me!

The Phoenix flew into its final home this week.... London, England.
