Thanks James, good to see you still posting great stuff.

Listen to the TONE of JD on that banjo, especially that super high C chord! Is that banjo the Banger? I liked JD moving his right hand up and down on the head managing his tone a bunch of times.

Hard to believe J.D. is gone.He seemed forever young to me..his playing always so fresh..and I remember the impact he had on me when I first heard him play.

Thanks for that video,James.
Three years later I found myself at Church Hill Downs where I listened to JD play on a pallet stage in the infield beer tent.
They played two full sets in a 24' tent.I have no idea who won the Breeder's Cup Stakes that day.
