I would like to make some videos playing the banjo and a Tab on the video of what I am playing , I have seen some videos done this way, How can it be done ?

"Soundslice" soundslice.com/ specializes in just that. Enda Scahill uses it for teaching Irish Tenor Banjo. It seems to work quite well, though I have no idea of the costs.

Look up the instructions for "picture in picture" in whatever video editor you're using.



In your case, I'd assume the picture you want to add is a still image of a section of tab.  So I assume you'll first have to create the separate images of the lines of tab that will appear at various places. Then you'll store them wherever your video editor likes them to be (perhaps in the media section of your current project, or whatever your editor calls it). Then you'll use the picture in picture function to add each section of tab to the appropriate seconds or minutes of video.
