Can you provide a link to a video or recording of the version that you like? Even if it's not in the key of C, it may help someone help you.

Here's a tab that mey help you get started.
This tab is based on the video by the Marshall Family - youtube.com/watch?v=5guc10Ao2ds. They play this in the key of D#, so capo on the 3rd fret to match their key.
