I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but logic for the Major, minor, diminished diatonic chords for the various modes is easy to see on the circle of 5ths. I spread the circle out to a linear table format but CCW is left and CW is right. The leftmost (CCW) chords are Major, the next three minor and the last is diminished. Works for all keys and modes. If you know your circle of 5ths the diatonic modal chords are easy to see.
