Congrats. As long as the neck and tuners are in good shape that seems to be a definite score.
This link has a pretty good description of popular tenor tunings with GDAE the preferred Irish tuning.

The tuning is determined by the music you want to play. GDAE is the preferred tuning for Irish music. However, the Ludwigs aren't really desired by the Irish players.
