Hey everyone!
I picked this tune up last week playing with my friend Nathan Vargo and thought you all might like to give it a spin.
It's a Cumberland Gap inspired tune called Old Cumberland by Pat Conte that he recorded in 1984 on his album "Songs That Scare Me".
It's in D, aDADE. It's a little crooked, basically the first bar only happens the first time through the A part. It's a pretty simple tune really but it's really fun to play and sounds great!

Nice to hear you, Adam, on this new-for-me take on Cumberland Gap. I found a Slippery Hill version by Jon Bekoff crediting Pat Conte with its composition and used an open C tuning (gCGCE) to keep the fingering at the 5th fret or below.
