Today I was listening to a podcast of bluegrass and an instrumental song was played by Sonny and Bobby. I could not make out the name of the song as it was announced. It sounded to me like the title was Si Opera or Ci Opera or similar to that. It was a catchy spanish sounding tune. Anyone know what tune it was ? Thanks in advance

Thanks ! That is it ! The DJ sounded like he was Australian and it sounded like he said Si Oprera. Of course my hearing is slowing fading too. Thank you again

After hearing Sonny play it, I just had to learn it. I still play it at home but if I go to a jam session, no one else knows it and no one seems interested in learning it.
While we're discussing Sempre, does anyone know what banjo Sonny recorded it on? I am making a six string banjo now and would like to call it the Siempre. It would be nice if I found out that Sonny recorded it on the six string.
