OK - Here's a start.
Take the ascending scale, number the chords, and play them in this order:
1 - 4 - 7 - 3 - 6 -2 -5 -1
Listen to how it works. You may begin to wonder. After some wondering, you may decide to create.
If you mess around with it enough, you may have a song of your own to play.
