Claw Hammer, Old Time banjo player and banjo collector, Jim Atleson, passed away this past week. All of us who knew him are saddened.

thanks for letting all of us know. Jim had told me some months ago that he had received some bad health news from his doctor. So, not entirely a surprise, but none the less, sorry to hear about it.

Jim and I had fairly regular emails about clawhammer tabs he was looking for. I enjoyed those emails and will miss him. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear this. I briefly messaged with him back in May regarding my low tunings video. He had gotten some of my CDs the last couple years as well.
