That was a great Grascles band. Terry and Jamie were so unique. Mr. Crowe sure enjoyed his music didn't he? He made people smile a lot. When he broke that leg one year, I think that hurt him long time. At least that is my impression. Thanks for posting Jack. Lots of good stuff to see and hear.

Thanks for correcting me on the leg/arm thing. Sounds like he always found a way to laugh. But Bob, do you think that accident had any long term affects on his health?

In No way did the Broke Arm have any effect on his health issues.  None what so ever,, I will not be the person to discuss those problems. Those will come from someone else.  I had discussions with Crowe concerning those Issues.  Not trying to be short with anyone,  Its out of respect for him,,,Bob

I think I have mentioned this before, but I loved talking with JD at the Banjothon the years he would be there. I always waited toward the end of the day when everyone else had finished rubbing elbows with him and he might be by himself sitting along the side of the room. I would never talk banjos, although I know he would be courteous and talk about them with me. I always talked to him about muscle cars and his granddaughter, whom he was so proud of ..... pretty obvious from the smile on his face when I would mention her. He was one of the good guys that will be sorely missed!

Mention a Old Western Movie,  You were in  for a history lesson. He could tell you ever actor in those movies. Never seen any person with more knowledge of Old western movies.  Took him To see a huge gun collection of the old west . Thought I would never get him out of that place,,,Bad idea on my part,,we were suppose to visit that place again in 2021,  Things never worked out our way,,,
