I’m looking for a shoe and nut like this. Unfortunately, Smakula hasn’t any listed on his website.

Anyone know where I could find them?

I know it’s a long shot.

As I have thousands of parts not listed on my web site, just because it is not posted doesn't mean I don't have it. But in this case it does.

If a donor banjo pops up with one of those, I'll let you know.

Thanks very much Bob! I'll bug you about it from time to time if I don't find any in the meantime.

I'm also missing just one of these!
I've always wondered how just one of such a critical part goes AWOL?
Funny to imagine the little land of lost banjo parts somewhere in the world...

After recently taking apart this Dobson Silver Bell pony I'm refreshing, I can tell that they could come off with a lot of playing. They're only getting maybe 1-1.5 rotations before bottoming on the rim. They kinda suck, lol, but I'm trying to keep this Dobson as original as possible.
