I'm looking for some ideas on how to breakdown Billy Failing's playing with Billy Strings. I know it's a lot of melodic style licks with some Scruggs thrown in. I'm just not sure how to breakdown what he's doing.



Does anybody know where any resources are on his playing?

Tab for Billy Failing style Beaumont Rag. See YouTube, Billy Strings, High Sierra Music Fest. The banjo break starts at about 2:42. My tab is rough. My timing notation is flawed, but if you slow the video down to 0.25 speed you can figure it out. If the pictures that I attached are not clear enough, let me know and I will try again
